Deco-Pours overlayment additive (HDS) & install process
provides a wear resistant, dust free, chemical resistant and
water repellant floor which allows installers to grind seeded
overlayment without the danger to loss of seed material or
adverse chemical reaction to seeding materials. Deco-Pour is
prepared to provide some of our tooling to aid you in your
first application. Deco-Pour receives preferential pricing on
floor machines and installation tools, which we pass along to
our customers.

Product Delivery: Customer will absorb Deco-Pour product
shipping costs either by COD or contract directly with
preferred shipper. Customer will pay for freight costs to
& from Washington State for the shipment of any
installation equipment owned and provided by Deco-Pour. A 50%
down payment on Deco-Pour products is required to activate
shipping of Deco-Pour material. Balance due to Deco-Pour will
be paid 20 days after receipt of product.
The following schedule is used as a guide only. It is based
on a four-man crew installing 3,000 square feet of a single
colored product.
Prior to Deco-Pour Application: Note: If
new construction, the vapor emission control system must be
applied the day of the concrete substrate pour. Concrete to be
completed to a medium broom finish.
Surface Preparation: Plastic protection installed
in those areas where needed. Substrate must be sound, clean
and free of oils, sealers, curing compounds, adhesives, paint,
polymer coatings, dust or other foreign matter. If applicable,
contractor will shot-blast the slab to remove carbonated
surface and open the pores. Crack-chase and fill all expansion
cracks and control joints.
DAY ONE Prime surface with water borne
epoxy mixture. Allow drying to manufacturer specification.
DAY TWO: Pour decorative overlayment. Let
set up to withstand foot traffic, approximately 4 hours. Apply
HDS-A overlayment additive. Allow drying a minimum of 12
hours. One person can apply 3,000 square feet of the HDS in
1-1/2 hours.
DAY THREE Begin grinding process.
